PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for inspecting an irregular pulse, in particular, the new inspection method by elucidating a causative gene of the irregular pulse, and analyzing the elucidated gene, to provide a medicament targeting the gene, and to provide a screening method for the new medicament.;SOLUTION: The method for inspecting the irregular pulse includes detecting a variant of potassium channel controlling G protein, specifically variant KCNJ3 (KCNJ3 N83H).
