PRESERVATION OF NON-EMBRYONIC CELL FROM NON-HEMATOPOIETIC TISSUE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide extraction of adipose tissues, separation of desired components from the adipose tissues, and subsequent storage of cell populations derived from adipose tissues containing materials within a range of the first two building blocks.;SOLUTION: The method of recovering stem cells, etc., from adipose tissues and preserving them comprises a step of treating adipose tissues evacuated in a cell collection portion which has been isolated from a container via a permeable membrane, in which the permeable membrane is used for allowing a component that can be disposed off to pass therethrough while holding the materials containing the desired components from the adipose tissues in the cell collection portion; a step of separating the materials held in the cell collection portion from the component that can be disposed off, and separating at least one of a matrix substance and adipose cell-depleted cell populations from the materials; and a step of performing cryopreservation and low temperature preservation of one or more of the adipose cell-depleted cell populations and the matrix substance.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
