PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal barrier coating material and a thermal barrier coating member which can be prevented from peeling when in use under high temperature and have excellent thermal barrier effect; to provide a method for production of the thermal barrier coating member; and also to provide a turbine member coated with the thermal barrier coating material, and a gas turbine. PSOLUTION: The thermal barrier coating member includes a heat-resistant base material 21, a bond coat layer 22 formed on the heat-resistant base material, and a ceramic layer 24 formed on the bond coat layer.
