PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sectional warper for pattern warp threads, which can achieve high productivity; and to provide a method for operating a sectional warper for the pattern warp threads.;SOLUTION: The sectional warper 1 for the pattern warp threads has a warping drum 2, a thread guiding device 17, and a drive device. The warping drum 2 has a plurality of conveying surfaces 8, 9 capable of being moved in parallel to the axis of the warping drum 2 and arranged at a circumference. The thread guiding device 17 includes at least one therad guide 18 disposed on a first end portion of the warping drum 2. The driving device relatively drives the therad guide 18 and the warping drum 2 in the circumferential direction. In addition, the sectional warper 1 for the pattern warp threads includes a second thread guiding device 19, and the second thread guiding device 19 has at least one therad guide 20 disposed in the second end portion.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
