PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide glued laminated wood which can increase strength against bending moment or a vertical tensile force in a joint between a wooden column and a beam or a joint between the wooden column and a foundation by increasing the pullout resistance force of a screw member screwed in the axial direction of the column, and which can increase the pullout resistance force of the screw member screwed in the axial direction.;SOLUTION: The column is formed of the glued laminated wood which is laminated with a large cross section by sticking a plurality of pieces of wood together in such a manner that axis lines are almost parallel to one another. A compressed member 22, in which the wood is compressed at a high temperature, is used in a position in which the screw member 11 is to be screwed; an uncompressed member 23 is used in other locations; and lamination is performed. A cross-sectional shape of the compressed member is formed as a rectangle, the one side of which is shorter than the other sides adjacent to one another; the length of the short side is set smaller in dimension than an outside diameter of a spiral overhang portion of the screw member; and the length of the long side is set larger in dimension than the outside diameter of the overhang portion of the screw member.
