PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silencing unit installable in an exhaust system for exhausting corrosive gas to prevent corrosion of precision equipment, and a noise detecting unit.;SOLUTION: The silencing unit 1 mounted to the end of a pipe through which corrosive gas flows, includes: a duct 3 connected to the pipe to allow the corrosive gas to flow in from the pipe; a sensor microphone 15 at least a portion of which is provided facing the inside of the duct 3 to detect noise in the duct 3; a controller 17 generating a reverse signal of the opposite phase to noise detected by the sensor microphone 15; a speaker 19 radiating a reverse sound corresponding to the reverse signal generated by the controller 17, into the duct 3; and a protective sheet 73 covering a monitor microphone 15 to protect the monitor microphone 15 from the corrosive gas.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
