PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organosilicon compound that bears an organic functional group, such as a hydroxy group, exhibiting excellent coordination performances to an active proton and affords a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition comprising the same that has a hydrogen bond formed between an active proton in a side chain of a base polymer and a functional group of a silane coupling agent and thus exhibits excellent reworkability in the initial stage and excellent long-term durability because of increase in adhesive force with time under a high-temperature condition and under a high-temperature high-humidity condition. PSOLUTION: The organosilicon compound is represented by general formula (1). In the formula, R is a hydrolyzable group; R' is an alkyl group; A is an alkylene group; X is an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom; Y is -NH- or a sulfur atom; LSP1/SPand LSP2/SPare each a carbon atom or a nitrogen atom; RSP1/SP-RSP3/SPare each a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, a fluoroalkyl group or an amino group; RSP1/SPand RSP2/SPor RSP2/SPand RSP3/SPmay form a cyclic skeleton together with a carbon atom and LSP2/SPto which they are bonded; and m and n are each an integer.
