PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method enabling a plurality of fiber bundles to be opened stably into a uniform fiber sheet by opening the plurality of fiber bundles being put under the same conditions one another in advance.;SOLUTION: The method includes the following steps: fiber bundles T are drawn and fed from a plurality of yarn feed units 10 respectively, and the respective fiber bundles T are put onto the guide faces of a guide member 22 and made to travel, wherein the guide faces are curvedly formed in a gutter-shaped manner and set at the same length and width one another over the whole length, thus resulting in that the respective fiber bundles T are made even in the same width during traveling. The respective fiber bundles T thus made even in width are made to travel by the same distance and opened at an opening treatment section 3 and arranged in parallel to one another unidirectionally to form a fiber sheet.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
