DAMAGE DETECTOR OF LAMP SLEEVE FOR UV RAY DISINFECTION APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the damage detector of a lamp sleeve for a UV ray disinfection apparatus which can surely and quickly detect damage in the lamp sleeve.;SOLUTION: The damage detector has a vessel 2 where conductive fluid to be treated flows in, a UV ray lamp 3 which irradiates the fluid to be treated flowing in the vessel with UV rays, the light translucent lamp sleeve 4 where the UV ray amp is housed and electric conduction parts 8, 8a, 8b in the lamp sleeve. Further the damage detector has a plurality of conduction wires 7 the parts of which except for the electric conduction parts are insulated in the lamp sleeve and an electric conduction detection means 9 which detects electric change flowing in the conduction wires when the fluid to be treated permeated into the lamp sleeve comes into contact with at least one of the electric conduction parts and which reports the damage in the lamp sleeve on the basis of the signal of the detected electric change.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
