MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, METHOD THEREFOR AND PROGRAM

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user with an estimated overall print cost, available print setting, and a fee for the setting, in a print system receiving an order from the user for printing. PSOLUTION: The manuscript submission management system calculates a predicted value of amount of consumables consumed for print processing corresponding to the order of the user, determines the cost for the print processing based on the predicted value as an estimation result, and provides the estimation result to a client terminal of the user. In a UI (User Interface) used for placing an order, cost for a print option is displayed in a simple manner. Cost for printing form data used for the print processing is registered in a storage area of the manuscript submission management system as a log in advance at estimation, and a time required for calculating the estimate is reduced.
