PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automobile having a dash insulator and an instrument panel, and a structure for preventing noise leakage between the dash insulator and the instrument panel, which excellently prevent leakage of the noise such as the engine noise into a cabin from an engine compartment via a space between the dash insulator and the instrument panel, by devising the shapes of the dash insulator and the instrument panel.;SOLUTION: A locking wall 71c of an instrument panel 71 is longitudinally and integrally formed with an intermediate part in the longitudinal direction of a panel base part 71a along its right-to-left direction. The locking wall 71c is projected in an inclined manner from the intermediate part in the longitudinal direction of the panel base part 71a downwardly to the rear side. The locking wall 71c is locked from the front side in its rear face by an extended end 64a of a fore end side tilting part 64 of a deflection part 60b of the dash insulator 60 on its front face.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
