PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control an operation of a radio communication system accompanied by link adaptation, increment, and incremental redundancy.;SOLUTION: A reception side entity has a step of receiving a block of data through a downlink, a step of determining at least one quality level among the block of the received data and the downlink, a step of transmitting at least one link quality estimated value in accordance with a result of the step of determination and an indicator for indicating the fact whether or not the reception side entity has sufficient memory capacity for continuing storage of the blocks for supporting a combining step of the incremental redundancy into a transmission side entity through an uplink, and a step of receiving, through the uplink, the data block to be retransmitted and of a scheme of modulating and encoding, which is selected in the transmission side entity based on the indicator and the link quality estimated value.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
