PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus which computes signal transmission system, a method of evaluating signal transmission system and storage medium storing program for evaluating signal transmission system for calculating non-defective ratio of a signal transmission system.;SOLUTION: The apparatus for evaluating signal transmission system is provided with: an acquisition part for acquiring statistics about the variation in each characteristic value and threshold of the characteristic value, corresponding to the range of prescribed variation in the characteristic value showing component characteristics; a probability distribution calculating part for calculating the probability distribution of each characteristic value, on the basis of the statistics acquired by the acquiring par; an eye-opening calculating part for calculating eye opening of a signal transmission system, when the characteristic value is a threshold value, an adjusting part for adjusting the threshold, such that the eye opening calculated by the eye-opening calculating part satisfies a prescribed eye-opening condition; and a non-defective ratio calculating part for calculating a non-defective ratio of the signal transmission system, on the basis of the probability distribution calculated by the probability distribution calculating part and the threshold adjusted by the adjustment part.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
