PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damping structure, in a turbomachine component, for damping vibration which causes fatigue to shorten the operational life of the turbomachine component.;SOLUTION: This turbomachine component 2 has a body 10 having surfaces 18 and 20, and a damping structure part 60 mounted to the surfaces 18 and 20 of the body 10. The damping structure part 60 is formed from a material having a temperature dependent damping characteristic. As the operation temperature and speed increase, the damping structure part 60 passes through the transition temperature, thus increasing its vibration damping level.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
