PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, since a table data contraction device cannot contract table data on the basis of the significance of each of cells on which the significance of lines or columns is reflected, the table data contraction device cannot generate a contraction table including large amounts of cells in each of which significance is high.;SOLUTION: The table data contraction device is provided with: a storage part having a storage region of a contraction table for storing cell data stored in each of cells of table data configured of M-pieces of lines and N-pieces of columns and the original cell significance of the cells; a significance calculation part for calculating the corrected cell significance from the original cell significance of the cells of the table data, the line significance of the lines to which the cells belong, and the column significance of the columns to which the cells belong; and a contraction part for selecting the m-pieces of lines and n-pieces of columns from the table data on the basis of the corrected cell significance, and generating the contraction table in the storage part configured of the cells arranged in the m-pieces of lines and n-pieces of columns from the cell data of the cells of the table data belonging to both the selected lines and columns.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
