POROUS MEMBRANE WITH FIXED GRAFT CHAIN HAVING FUNCTIONAL GROUP, MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR AND APPLICATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new porous membrane which is useful when an object such as protein is separated from a solution and features the inhibited leakage of an object after break-through and also, the inhibited extension distortion by the running of a salt solution etc.;SOLUTION: This porous membrane includes a fixed graft chain with a functional group, at least, not less than 30% of which is fixed to the surface of the porous membrane. In addition, the method of manufacturing the porous membrane with a fixed graft chain having a functional group involves: a process to incorporate the graft chain by performing a polymerization reaction of the graft chain in the porous membrane with a maximum pore diameter of 0.1 to 1.0 μm, and a percentage of vacancy of 50 to 95% at -10 to 20°C; and a process to incorporate a functional group into the graft chain.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
