PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-propelling slime processing apparatus and a slime processing method, capable of reliably removing the slime deposited on the enlarged bottom of a pile hole without diffusing the slime therearound.;SOLUTION: A submerged pump 40 is liftably suspended in the pile hole 90 by the sling 30 of a hoist 23. The bottom end of a support leg 51 the upper part of which is swingably connected to the sling 30 or the submerged pump 40 by the lowering of the sling 30 is seated on the enlarged bottom 90b of the pile hole 90. The support leg 51 is tilted to the inner wall surface side of the enlarged bottom 90b about the lower end of the support leg 51.
