PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass-phase material for far-infrared emission with permanence of the extent of far-infrared emission and a product thereof.;SOLUTION: The far-infrared emission material is produced by putting in a blending vessel 45-65 wt.% silicon oxide, 7-9 wt.% oxidized feldspar, 10-20 wt.% borax, 4-6 wt.% boric acid, 2-4 wt.% potassium carbonate, 1-1.2 wt.% niter, 3.3-6.8 wt.% aluminum hydroxide, 1.4-1.8 wt.% limestone, 0.8-1 wt.% barium carbonate, 0.7-0.8 wt.% lithium, 1.0-1.3 wt.% zircon, 0.2-0.4 wt.% phosphoric acid, 3.0-3.5 wt.% carbon, 0.4-0.5 wt.% magnesium carbonate and 0.2-0.22 wt.% colorant, homogenizing these by stirring, putting the homogenized mixture and 1 part, based on 100 parts of the mixture, of a carbonized material formed by perfect combustion of cut ginkgo at 1,000°C in a glass melting furnace at 1,350-1,550°C, and melting the mixture.
