PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for the storage and import/export of test tubes in a laboratory and a method for handling sample test tubes in a laboratory.;SOLUTION: The laboratory import/export system for storing sample test tubes or extracting stored sample test tubes includes a rack handling part and a storage section. The rack handling part includes a transfer system and a determination unit. The transfer system receives an import primary rack PR housing sample test tubes and transfers it to the determination unit for determining at least one prescribed parameter on predetermined sorting criteria of sample test tubes S. The transfer system extracts sample test tubes from an analyzed primary rack PR and sorts extracted sample test tubes again to an appropriate storage rack SR according to the parameter of the sorting criteria determined on the sample test tubes for storing sample test tubes in a storage rack and in the storage section.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
