PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production device for acicular metal powder and a method for producing acicular metal powder which can efficiently produce the fine acicular particles of amorphous metal, and to provide fine acicular metal powder of amorphous metal produced by the production device.;SOLUTION: In the production device 1 for metal powder, a molten metal 32 obtained by melting a metallic material functioning as a raw material is brought into contact with a water flow (water layer 241) produced by circling water (cooling liquid) along the inner wall face 20 of a cylindrical body 2, whereby the molten metal 32 is rapidly solidified while it is deformed into acicular shape by water energization, so that the acicular particles of amorphous metal are obtained. The inner wall face 20 is provided with a groove, and the molten metal 32 is dropped toward the groove. A part of the dropped molten metal 32, enters the groove to be fixed to the inner wall face 20, whereas the other part is stretched by the water flow, thus it is deformed into an acicular shape.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
