PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily control a preheating time required for surface ignition, without damaging an ignition surface of an object to be sintered, to burn sufficiently the object to be sintered packed in a sintering box, and to enhance a nondefective rate in a production line, because free from damage, dust and the like and because complete in a granule.;SOLUTION: This ignition method includes: a preheating process for preheating an upper part of the sintering box, by elevating a temperature of the ignition device up to 800 to 1350°C of high-temperature state to be maintained, and by approaching the upper part opening type sintering box packed with the object to be sintered, to a bottom face of the ignition device brought into the high-temperature state, by a conveying means; an ignition process for introducing a supporting gas between the bottom face of the ignition device and the sintering box, to form an ignition layer on a surface of the object to be sintered; and a suction process for sucking the ignition layer formed on the surface of the object to be sintered, by a ventilation duct arranged in a position faced to the ignition device via the sintering box.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
