PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation shielding concrete composition capable of uniformly providing high radiation shielding capacity and a placement apparatus for the same, and to provide a radioactive waste container using the radiation shielding concrete composition.;SOLUTION: The radiation shielding concrete composition (the inner vessel 7 of the radioactive waste container) includes: cement; a small steel ball group with a mean particle diameter of 100-250 μm, which is added in the range of 1-4 by weight to the cement; and a large steel ball group with the mean particle diameter of 600-850 μm, which is added in the range of 1-4 by weight to the cement, wherein the density after hardening is 4.0 g/cm³ or higher.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
