PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding method of a vertical T-shaped joint capable of obtaining a sound weld metal part and sufficient welding strength while upper and lower plates are arranged on upper and lower sides of a vertical plate, and to provide a vertical T-shaped weld joint and a welded structure using the vertical T-shaped weld joint. PSOLUTION: In the welding method of the vertical T-shaped joint, the joint consists of stainless steel steels, where one or two butted upper and lower plates are arranged on upper and lower sides of a vertical plate. The surfaces of the upper and lower plates to the vertical plate side are subjected to the non-consumable electrode type arc welding while feeding a wire or the laser beam by applying defocused laser beam with the focal position of the laser beam being deviated upward of the plate surface. The thickness T1 of the upper or lower plate is in a range of 2T16 mm. The thickness T2 of the vertical plate is in a range of 2-5 times the thickness T1 (2T1T25T1).
