METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING QUARTER DOOR GLASS AND QUARTER WEATHER STRIP

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a quarter door glass and a quarter weather strip having high productivity and excellent appearance. PSOLUTION: A quarter member forming die 40 includes a glass cavity 44, and a weather strip cavity 43. A glass dummy member 50 and a coating member 30 superposed on the glass dummy member 50 are arranged in the glass cavity 44, and outer peripheral parts of the glass dummy member 50 and the coating member 30 are projected into the weather strip cavity 43. A quarter weather strip 20 is formed by covering the outer peripheries of the glass dummy member 50 and the coating member 30. In the method for manufacturing the quarter door glass 6 and the quarter weather strip 20, the glass dummy member 50 is detached, and a synthetic resin is poured in the glass cavity 44 to form the quarter glass 6.
