PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor magnet holder capable of completely and fixedly inserting a sensor magnet without requiring, such special preliminary processing, as knurling treatment, annular grooves for positioning which have conventionally been required for fixing the sensor magnet. PSOLUTION: The sensor magnet holder is integrally formed of a cylindrical portion, a flange with its one side made larger in diameter, a locking portion at another end in the rear side of the magnet, and four pieces of plate-like snap fits. The inserting portion of a motor shaft is formed at the inside-diameter side of the cylindrical portion, including the flange. Four pieces of plate-like snap fits form a front-side locking portion of the magnet at the outer diametrical side of its distal end. Each of the snap fits is brought into contact with each of the flat surfaces, in the sensor magnet having four flat peripheral surfaces utilizing the elasticity of the snap fits, and the sensor magnet is locked between the locking portions at the rear side and the front side of the magnet.
