PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a light guide adjusting device that suppresses state change of a light guide such as a nonlinear optical element; a light guide adjusting method; a repeating device; and an optical network.;SOLUTION: The light guide adjusting device includes a correlation detection unit 2 which inputs an optical signal Ga inputted to the light guide 4 and an optical signal Gb outputted from the light guide 4 and detects the phase difference between those optical signals Ga and Gb, and a state adjusting unit 3 which adjusts the optical path length of the light guide 4 based upon the phase difference detected by the correlation detection unit 2. The phase adjustment unit 3 suppresses variation in optical path length to match the wavelength of the optical signal Gb outputted from the light guide 4 to a target wavelength.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
