PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of preventing heaved uplift of a manhole, caused by an earthquake etc., which facilitates installation of a concrete flange on an external surface of a right circular cylinder of the concrete manhole, positively supports the flange on the external surface of the right circular cylinder, and can install the flange on the external surface of the right circular cylinder even if a slight error is included in an internal diameter of the flange.;SOLUTION: The structure of preventing heaved uplift of the manhole, caused by an earthquake etc. incldues the flange 10 provided on the external surface of the right circular cylinder 9 of the concrete manhole and supported with a plurality of support members 1. Each of the support members is provided with: a wedged flange engaging portion 5 which is arranged at an upper portion, and includes a stepwise thickened external surface; an insertion hole 7 which is bored at an intermediate portion, for installation of a concrete nail 6 to be driven into a manhole wall; and a support member squeezing portion 8 which is arranged at a lower portion, and includes a lower surface thereof inclined upward to serve as a driving bearing surface.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
