PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately monitor erosion by a simple system structure and simple processing, in regard to the erosion of a moving blade in a rotary machine such as a steam turbine.;SOLUTION: This blade erosion monitoring method measures variation pressure at a fixed point 14 set in a flow passage opposed to the front edge side of the moving blade 4 in a turbine stage 2 of a monitoring object by a pressure measuring device 11, and monitors the blade erosion by determining the occurrence of limit erosion on the moving blade by determining the fixed point variation pressure provided thereby based on a preset erosion limit determining reference value on the fixed point variation pressure.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
