PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake signal processing device and an earthquake signal processing method, capable of performing restoration of a gas flow passage in the event of a false detection of an earthquake while rapidly interrupting the gas flow passage upon detection of the earthquake affecting gas supply.;SOLUTION: The earthquake signal processing device controls, in a gas supply system for supplying gas from a cylinder filled with the gas to a gas supply destination through a pipe, opening and closing of a first cutoff valve for supply or interruption of the gas from the pipe to the gas supply destination and a second cutoff valve for supply or interruption of the gas from the cylinder to the pipe. The device closes the first cutoff valve upon input of P-wave detection signal to interrupt the gas supply, closes the second cutoff valve upon input of S-wave detection signal to interrupt the gas supply, and opens the closed first cutoff valve, when no S-wave detection signal is input after closing the first cutoff valve by input of the P-wave detection signal, to restore the gas supply.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
