PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for compiling computer code written to conform to a high-level language standard to generate a unified executable element containing associated support code for managing execution on a hybrid hardware platform.;SOLUTION: A high-level driver translates a CFC representation generated in compilation level into a hybrid controlflow-dataflow graph representation for representing optimized pipeline logic which may be processed into a hardware description representation. The driver produces a netlist file needed to produce a bitstream for a reconfigurable computer. Support is provided for taking the output from a compilation driver and combining all the necessary components together to produce a unified executable element capable of running on both the instruction processor and reconfigurable processor.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
