PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for transporting hot spring water or geothermal water in a supersaturated state to calcium carbonate, in the multistage utilization of hot spring water or geothermal water, which do not cause trouble to the next others utilization equipment, and do not cause carbonate scale trouble.;SOLUTION: In the transporting method, carbon dioxide is press-injected into hot spring water or geothermal water containing calcium carbonate in a supersaturated state on the basis of the dependency of solubility of the calcium carbonate on temperature and on the partial pressure of the carbon dioxide, thereby the solubility of the calcium carbonate is increased to suppress the precipitation of the calcium carbonate and also to dissolve the suspended calcium carbonate, next, in a state where the partial pressure of the carbon dioxide is held and the hot spring water or geothermal is in an unsaturated state to the calcium carbonate, the hot spring water or geothermal water is transported while being cooled, and thereafter, pressure is reduced, thus, the spring water or geothermal water in which a calcium carbonate component in an amount same as that contained at the initial stage is dissolved and contained can be obtained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
