FILLING LIQUID FOR INK-JET HEAD, INK-JET HEAD, INK-JET RECORDING DEVICE, METHOD FOR STORING INK-JET HEAD, AND INK-JET RECORDING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filling liquid for ink-jet head which causes no delay of ink jet even if flushing operation is not repeated when an ink channel of the ink-jet head is filled with the filling liquid, and can realize efficient ink-jet recording.;SOLUTION: The filling liquid for ink-jet head fills an ink channel of an ink-jet head. When a curve which shows change of viscosity of the filling liquid due to that of shear rate after a water is removed by evaporation, and a curve which shows a change in viscosity of a water-based ink for ink jet recording due to that of shear rate after the water is removed by evaporation, are obtained on the same conditions, the two curves cross on one intersection. In the two curves, the viscosity of the filling liquid is higher than the viscosity of the ink in the lower shear rate side than the intersection, and the viscosity of the filling liquid is lower than the viscosity of the ink in the higher shear rate side than the intersection.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
