FINGER VEIN IMAGING APPARATUS AND FINGER VEIN IMAGING METHOD

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a finger vein imaging device and a finger vein imaging method that allows specifying the relative position of an imaged finger though the device, using a microlens array wherein the image of the finger as a whole is difficult to acquire. PSOLUTION: A finger vein authentication device is provided with: an imaging element generating two kinds of imaged images, by performing line scanning in both of a direction along a lengthwise direction of the finger and a direction orthogonal to the lengthwise direction of the finger; and an imaging range detecting part for detecting the relative position of an imaging range of the finger by using at least either a crease pattern near a first joint or a crease pattern near a second joint of the finger existing in at least one of two kinds of vein patterns.
