PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the realization of a power supply system for an AC-DC dual current electric railcar having an efficient circuit configuration. PSOLUTION: In the power supply system 100 for the AC-DC dual current electric railcar, DC power supplied from a feeder via a pantograph 3 is applied a DC link portion of a main converter 20 in a DC section. An inverter part 40 forms three-phase AC power and drives a main motor 1. Moreover, a converter part 30 operating in an opposite direction converts DC power applied to a DC link portion into single-phase AC power and outputs a secondary winding 52 of a main transformer 50.
