PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the erroneous transmission of mail without putting burdens on a user.;SOLUTION: A transmission control section 9 compares affiliation information included in the header information of inputted mail and destination affiliation limit information in a limit information storage section 11 and determines whether or not the affiliation of the header information is pertinent to the affiliation of the destination affiliation limit information. Also, the transmission control section 9 compares post information included in the header information of the inputted mail and destination post limit information in the limit information storage section 11 and determines whether or not the post of the header information is pertinent to the post of the destination post limit information. When the affiliation and the post are not pertinent to each limit information in the limit information storage section 11, a message indicating attention calling is transmitted to a terminal 1A. The terminal 1A receives the message and performs pop-up display on the monitor 4 for instance.
