RAPID ANALYZING METHOD FOR ACID-SOLUBLE ALUMINUM IN STEEL

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of easily and rapidly analyzing an acid-soluble Al (sol. Al) in steel with high accuracy. PSOLUTION: The rapid analyzing method for an acid-soluble Al (sol. Al) in steel includes: electrolyzing a steel sample in which aluminum nitride is not precipitated, in an electrolytic solution; analyzing the electrolytic solution; calculating a concentration ratio of Al to a comparison element in the electrolytic solution based on the result of the analysis; and multiplying the calculated Al concentration ratio with the comparison element content of the steel sample. The comparison element is an added metal element other than Al, or Fe, and is a metal element present in a solid solution state in the steel sample. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
