PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radon emission source being low in cost while satisfying each of requirements which are high-rate emissivity, durability, and stability, required especially of a radon emission source for radon mist.;SOLUTION: This radon emission source is made by fixing radioactive radium on a carrier made of porous ceramics having cordierite as a main component. As to the emission source, a radium carrying amount can be sharply increased if the surface of the carrier is acid-etched before fixing the radioactive radium thereon.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
