PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To forbid continuous use of an apparatus by easy operation by a user to ensure safety-confirmed use thereof, if a backfire occurs by any chance.;SOLUTION: If a backfire occurrence detecting section 23 detects an occurrence of the backfire during flame combustion, the backfire detecting section extinguishes the backfire according to a predetermined fire extinction sequence, sets a backfire occurrence flag to 1, and increments a backfire occurrence count value. If the backfire occurrence flag has been set to 1, ignition is not allowed, even if an ignition button 26 is pressed. If a password is input through an operating section 41, which has been issued after safety has been confirmed by a manufacturer, a password matching section 40 of a PC 4 acquires the backfire occurrence count value. If the input password coincides with a reference password corresponding thereto, the backfire occurrence flag of an apparatus control section 20 is reset to cancel an ignition forbidden mode. Once the backfire occurrence count value exceeds a prescribed value, the reference password does not exist any more and the apparatus needs to be sent back to the manufacturer for overhaul.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
