PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of inhibiting a prozone phenomenon during measurement using immuno-chromatography.;SOLUTION: Sodium dodecyl sulfate is used as an effective component of the prozone phenomenon inhibitor for measuring immuno-chromatography contained in a test liquid supplied to the immuno-chromatography. In a food inspection method, a food extraction liquid is prepared where extraction liquid is brought into contact with a food and a component in the food is extracted, then the food extraction liquid is brought into contact with a specific antibody for specifically recognizing the material contained in a specific raw material to be inspected, and the existence and/or amount of the specific raw material in the food is inspected using an immunological measuring method. The immuno-chromatography is used as the immunological measuring method and sodium dodecyl sulfate is contained in the food extraction liquid, thereby inhibiting the prozone phenomenon during inspecting and measuring the food.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
