PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for mass-producing Musci as a kind of moss in a short period. PSOLUTION: This method for mass-producing the Musci comprises harvesting as seeds and saplings, a large number of pieces of plants of the Musci such as Sunagoke moss (Rhacomitrium canescens) and Haigoke moss (Hypnum plumaeforme), almost evenly arranging the large number of the seeds and saplings on the surface of a base material, applying while spraying a culture solution containing each of chemical elements of manganese, strontium and nickel to the base material, thereby raising the seeds and saplings so as to mass-produce the Musci in a short period on the base material. Musci raised on the base material are usable aiming at soil greening by separating from the base material, and the base material where the Musci are raised is directly usable as a greening material.
