METHOD FOR CONTROLLING WATER QUALITY IN CIRCULATING COOLING WATER SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of stably keeping water quality using a simple device, accurately controlling an amount of a water treating agent to be injected, and further saving manpower in an open type circulating cooling water system.;SOLUTION: The method includes the disposal of, (1) a two-way automatic stop valve in either an upstream side or downstream side of a fixed volume flow rate valve for controlling the flow rate therethrough, and (2) a water quality measuring device having a detector in a circulating water flow passage in a blow down flow passage of the open type circulating cooling water system, the control of (3) the opening and closing of the two-way automatic stop valve by a control device receiving a signal from the water quality measuring device, the injection of (4) the water treating agent corresponding to the blow down water quantity into the circulating cooling water system following the signal from the control device, and the continuous operation of (5) a water treating agent injection device via time controlling which repeats a short time on/off operation independently of the injection of the water treating agent following the signal from the control device.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
