PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems on a conventional surface treatment method that, in the case that a treated object is an slit-shaped inner face which is narrow and deep or the inner face of a deep hole having a smaller diameter, a reforming material cannot reach the deep corner of the treated object to produce a non-treated portion, resulting in a treatment possible shape to be restricted.;SOLUTION: This wire electro-discharge machining device includes a machining power supply 8 for applying pulsed voltage between a wire electrode 2 and a workpiece 5 opposed to the wire electrode, a feeding means for feeding a current from the machining power supply to the wire electrode, a treatment atmosphere control means for supplying gas or machining liquid between the wire electrode and the workpiece, and a wire electrode vibrating means 18 for vibrating the wire electrode perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction of the wire electrode.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
