PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic bulging device capable of securely sealing by preventing an injected fluid from leaking during processing, and a hydraulic bulging method. PSOLUTION: An abutting surface 12 of a seal unit 11 built in either of upper and lower dies 19a is abutted to metal plates 1 which are clamped by material-clamping surfaces 4 of the upper and lower dies 19a, and then bulging is performed by injecting fluid through a fluid passage 14. The dies 19a have cylindrical shape and large diameters on the upper end parts and are fixed by a stopper 27 which has a fluid passage 18 communicated to a fluid passage 6 of the die and a fluid introduction hole 26 communicated to the fluid passage 18 and to a space 15 between the seal unit and the die. Thereby, fluid leakage is prevented by constantly pressing the seal unit 11 against the metal plates with hydraulic pressure during the bulging. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
