PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate integration of databases by classifying a plurality of tables in databases into a group of similar tables. PSOLUTION: A table classification device 1 includes a semantic classification unit 20 for carrying out classification by taking into consideration meanings of columns which form a database and a statistical classification unit 30 for carrying out classification based on the statistical information of the columns. The tables are hierarchically classified by combining a classification method of the semantic classification unit 20 and a classification method of the statistical classification unit 30.
