PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately sort a C channel signal into speakers other than a center speaker while respecting an intent of a producer of the sound content.;SOLUTION: A correlation evaluation part 211L calculates a correlation coefficient between the C channel signal and an L channel signal. In addition, a correlation evaluation part 211R calculates a correlation coefficient between the C channel signal and an R channel signal. Continuously, a sorting coefficient determination part 212A determines a first sorting coefficient of a separation channel signal SCD_C into the C channel and a second sorting coefficient of the separation channel signal SCD_C into the L channel and the R channel based on the calculated correlation coefficient. Then, a sorting processing part 215A sorts the separation channel signal SCD_C into the C channel, the L channel, and the R channel according to the first and second determined sorting signals. Sound corresponding to channel processing signals PCD_C-PCD_R generated in this way is reproduced and output from six speakers.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
