PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a partition wall between lightweight steel frames, capable of driving a stud through accurately irrespective of the presence of a thick elastic buffer material between an upper part runner and an upper end of the stud, forming a wall substrate for forming a wall face satisfactorily, and preventing the occurrence of creaking sound (scratching sound) due to elastic deformation of the elastic buffer material for many years.;SOLUTION: In this partition wall between the lightweight steel frames, capable of absorbing the layer-to-layer displacement of a building through the relative displacement of the stud 5 and the upper part runner 3 in the in-plane direction, the upper part runner 3 includes a double structure composed of an outer runner 3A fixed on an upper story side and an inner runner 3B fixed on the stud 5, the elastic buffer material 7 is provided between the outer runner 3A and the inner runner 3B, and the outer runner 3A and the inner runner 3B displace relatively in the in-plane direction when the layer-to-layer displacement of the building occurs to prevent the occurrence of creaking sound (scratching sound) due to the elastic deformation of the elastic buffer material 7.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
