PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a system allowing high-speed application of information processing desired by a user to a retrieval result of an electronic document. PSOLUTION: An input/output device 2 receives a processing instruction instructing the information processing applied to the retrieval result and a retrieval instruction including an instruction of a retrieval word from a user terminal 1. A distributed retrieval device 4 retrieves an electronic document group based on the retrieval instruction acquired through a relay communication device 3, and acquires the electronic document group including the retrieval word as the retrieval result. The input/output device 2 or the relay communication device 3 selects the retrieval result by use of an evaluation value such as detection frequency if needed, and thereafter acquires a result obtained by applying the information processing instructed by the processing instruction.
