PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize an output voltage while suppressing an input current and an output current.;SOLUTION: A gm amplifier 10 amplifies an error between a feedback voltage Vfb and a reference voltage Vref1 to generate an error signal Verr. A peak current detecting unit 16 generates a peak current detection signal Vpeak corresponding to an input current Iin. A input current detecting unit 17 generates an input current detection signal V1 corresponding to the time average of the input current Iin. An output current detecting unit 18 generates an output current detection signal V2 corresponding to an output current Iout. A PWM comparator 14 compares the peak current detection signal Vpeak with any one of the error signal Verr, the input current detection signal V1, and the output current detection signal V2, and generates an off signal Soff that is asserted when the compared two signals match in their values. A driver circuit 30 turns on a switching transistor M1 at a given cycle, and turns off the transistor M1 every time the off signal Soff is asserted.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
