INTER-TUNNEL EXCAVATION METHOD AND INTER-TUNNEL EXCAVATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To excavate the natural ground between two tunnels over a wide range efficiently.;SOLUTION: When the natural ground between two tunnels T formed at the predetermined interval therebetween is excavated to connect both of tunnels T mutually, a jacking frame 11 supported by upper and lower rail members Ru, Rd and a supporting column member P in both of tunnels T by main and auxiliary gripper devices 13, 14 is arranged in an advance space E formed between both of tunnels T to support excavation reaction force by the upper and lower rail members Ru, Rd and the supporting column member P and excavate the natural ground between both of tunnels T by the excavator 12 installed in the jacking frame 11 to form an excavation space. The supporting column member P supports jacking reaction force and the jacking frame 11 is made to advance along the excavation space by a jacking device 15 provided in the jacking frame 11.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
