PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an improved sample fractionalizing means by providing various utilizable channel lengths in the same A4F unit in a new type asymmetric flow field flow fractionation apparatus, that is A4F.;SOLUTION: This apparatus can most suitably separate a sample by carrying out such the fractionation as a function of the channel length.
